Ässät double header 5-2 & 4-3 JA
The first game was very disappointing I think the referees didn’t help us much and we got torn apart after Marjamäki was sent off for an early shower, the home game though was much much much better! We scored… Ässät scored and it kept going that way until Kangasniemi scored right at the end of the game for a 3-2 win…. at least thats what it looked like, until Ässät once again immdiatly equalized for the 3rd time in the game, Rajala sealed 2 points for us with a nicely taken shot in over time which means for the first time in a long time we are NO LONGER bottom of the league, or jumbo as I think you Finns call it? SaiPa have a couple of games in hand on us though so ofcourse we must hope they keep losing.
Next in our sights is Tappara and HPK, there is no doubt in my mind that we can still get into the play-offs, if the team want it badly enough then they will keep playing this good, we know we have the ability and talent, we just need to kill off teams more often and not let them come back on us, we also need to do better on our powerplay, but that aside I’m a very happy fan, both video highlights are below:
